WORKING TOGETHER
Harnessing Community Resources
to Improve Middle Schools

IT'S WORTH THE EFFORT!

Educating young adolescents should be an urgent priority in every school system and in every community. Some school systems have taken up that challenge, but others have not. A coalition for middle school reform can bring together the resources needed to advocate for and support the most important goals in middle school education: high achievement for all students and a firm foundation for their future as students and productive adults.

Wherever your own community may be in the process of middle school reform, a coalition of local partners increases the capacity of schools to meet these challenges for all children.
